This month-long summer studio focused on the collaborative design of a public market across from the Bloor GO station in the Junction Triangle. 

 

With a focus on the smells associated with the typical market (freshly baked breads, smoked meats...), our design aims to create a sensory experience as one walks through the entirety of the building.

 

The building expands or contracts based on the concentration of the smell in that market section.
